Fullback Kyle Juszczyk is expected to miss two to three weeks after suffering a knee sprain and bone bruise during the 49ers' 24-14 victory over the Broncos.

San Francisco 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk is expected to miss two to three weeks after suffering a knee sprain and bone bruise during a 24-14 victory over the Denver Broncos. Sources told ESPN’s Adam Schefter and NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport that an MRI performed Monday confirmed the extent of the damage. The 10-time Pro Bowler sustained the injury with 14:03 remaining in the fourth quarter after catching a 16-yard pass from quarterback Brock Purdy. Broncos defensive back Jahdae Barron delivered a hit to Juszczyk’s knee and midsection, leaving the fullback down for several minutes before he was helped to the sideline medical tent.

Juszczyk finished the game with two receptions for 28 yards. Through the current season, he has recorded four catches for 55 yards and one touchdown. The 49ers also saw two defensive starters leave Sunday's contest due to injuries. Safety Marques Sigle recorded six tackles before departing with an ankle injury with 2:15 left in the game. Sigle had previously left in the third quarter with a stinger but briefly returned.

Slot cornerback Upton Stout also exited the game after recording six tackles. Stout suffered a shoulder injury during the third quarter and, despite returning with 2:07 remaining, he was unable to finish the final defensive snaps. The team officially ruled Juszczyk out shortly after his fourth-quarter exit, and he watched the remainder of the win from the bench.
