New York Jets wide receiver Adonai Mitchell will play in Sunday’s game against the 0-5 Miami Dolphins after missing four games with a right-hand finger injury. Mitchell, who underwent a surgical procedure after catching his finger in a teammate's jersey during practice, participated in team sessions all week. Before the injury, Mitchell recorded nine receptions for 123 yards across the first two weeks of the season.
Running back Breece Hall is listed as questionable for the matchup following a three-game absence due to a quadriceps injury. Hall practiced on a limited basis for the past two days, and coach Aaron Glenn indicated a final decision on his status will be made Sunday. While Hall remains the starter, Braelon Allen has recorded 253 rushing yards over the last three games and is expected to continue receiving carries.
The 2-4 Jets currently rank 27th in scoring, averaging 18.7 points per game with four touchdowns in their last three contests. Mitchell’s return allows the team to field its top three receivers—Mitchell, Garrett Wilson, and Omar Cooper Jr.—together for the first time since the opening series of the season. Cooper Jr. returned from an ankle injury last week, recording six catches for 103 yards.
Left guard Dylan Parham is also questionable after returning to practice this week following a three-game absence caused by a knee injury. Additionally, ESPN confirmed that the NFL fined coach Aaron Glenn $250,000 for his conduct toward officials, though Glenn declined to comment on the specific details of the penalty.
