Rams left tackle Alaric Jackson struck Bills linebacker Bradley Chubb in the face following Buffalo's 37-34 victory on Monday night.
The Buffalo Bills defeated the Los Angeles Rams 37-34 in overtime on Monday night at SoFi Stadium. Following the final whistle, Rams left tackle Alaric Jackson punched Bills outside linebacker Bradley Chubb in the face with his right hand at midfield. ESPN cameras captured the incident, which occurred while Jackson was exchanging jerseys with Bills defensive lineman Deone Walker.
Jackson had already removed his jersey and shoulder pads when he approached Chubb, who remained in full uniform. According to Chubb, the confrontation followed a close, emotional contest where tempers flared. Rams tight end Colby Parkinson intervened to pull Jackson away from the scene immediately after the strike connected.
Chubb, who declined to confirm to the California Post whether the punch caused injury, stated his teammates held him back following the exchange. The Bills linebacker noted that cameras recorded the event and expressed he was ready to move on to next week's schedule. Buffalo is set to face the Las Vegas Raiders this coming Sunday, while the Rams are scheduled to host the Arizona Cardinals.
