Former two-weight UFC champion Alex Pereira (13-4) will face Sergei Pavlovich (21-3) in a five-round co-main event at UFC 335 on Dec. 12. Officials announced the heavyweight matchup on Saturday, which is scheduled to take place at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The promotion has not yet confirmed a headlining bout for the card.
Pereira, 39, enters the contest following an unsuccessful heavyweight debut at UFC Freedom Fights 250 in June. During that interim title bout, he lost to Ciryl Gane via second-round TKO. The Brazilian fighter previously vacated his 205-pound championship in February to pursue a third divisional title.
Pavlovich, 34, carries a 9-3 record within the UFC and has secured seven career knockouts. He is currently on a three-fight winning streak dating back to 2025, recording victories over Jairzinho Rozenstruik, Waldo Cortes Acosta, and Tallison Teixeira. The former interim title challenger looks to halt Pereira's attempt to move back into title contention following Gane's promotion to undisputed champion.
