Seven-division world champion Amanda Serrano (50-4-1, 32 KOs) will defend her WBO and WBA featherweight titles against Skye Falzon (12-2, 7 KOs) on Jan. 9, 2027. Most Valuable Promotions announced Wednesday that the bout, titled "The Last Walk," will take place at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico in San Juan and serve as the final fight of Serrano’s professional career.
The championship contest is scheduled for 12 three-minute rounds, a format Serrano has championed to match the standard of men’s title bouts. This follows her 2023 unified championship fight against Danila Ramos, which was the first women's bout of that duration since 2007. Serrano previously vacated her WBC title to avoid competing under the traditional 10-round, two-minute format.
Serrano’s career began in 2009 and included a high-profile trilogy against Katie Taylor between 2022 and 2025. She became the first female boxer to sign with Jake Paul’s MVP in 2021. A kickoff news conference for the event is scheduled for Tuesday in San Juan to officially launch the promotion for the Puerto Rican native's retirement appearance.
