Quarterback Michael Penix Jr. made his season debut following a torn ACL, completing 18 of 25 passes for 256 yards, one touchdown, and one interception.

Atlanta's offense generated 244 rushing yards, featuring 194 yards and a touchdown from Bijan Robinson. Brian Robinson Jr. added a rushing touchdown, while wide receiver Drake London contributed nine receptions for 194 yards. Tight end Austin Hooper caught a touchdown pass from Penix, who completed 13 of 15 passes across the second and third quarters.

Green Bay quarterback Jordan Love finished 28-of-52 passing for 312 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception while facing 11 hits from the Falcons' defense. The Packers were held to 17 total rushing yards, with MarShawn Lloyd gaining 11 yards on four carries and Kaleb Johnson adding six yards on four attempts.

With the victory, the Falcons moved to a 1-2 record, matching the Packers at 1-2. Atlanta also ended a season-opening streak of 27 consecutive drives without a red zone snap during the first quarter.
