Midfielder Aurélien Tchouaméni labeled his previous dressing room scuffle with Federico Valverde a minor event that was blown out of proportion.

Real Madrid midfielder Aurélien Tchouaméni stated on his YouTube show, The Bridge, that a previous dressing room incident with teammate Federico Valverde was a "minor thing" rather than a significant fight. The altercation occurred in May, just days before a match against Barcelona, resulting in Valverde being hospitalized with a head injury. Following the event, the club issued a combined fine of €1 million to both players.

New coach José Mourinho, who took charge this summer, confirmed he has seen no lingering issues between the pair after starting them frequently in midfield together this season. Mourinho noted that he monitored their interactions from zero and observed normal behavior. Valverde has recently transitioned to right-back, starting the last two matches in that position ahead of teammates Trent Alexander-Arnold and Denzel Dumfries.

Both players are expected to feature in this Sunday's Clásico at Camp Nou. Real Madrid enters the match trailing LaLiga leaders Barcelona by six points, as the Catalan side maintains a 100% record in league play. Tchouaméni insisted that the situation is resolved, claiming the incident actually brought the players closer together and that there is currently no issue on the field.
