The Atlanta Falcons defeated the New Orleans Saints 45-24, becoming the first NFL team to win consecutive road primetime games by at least 20 points.

The Atlanta Falcons (2-2) defeated the New Orleans Saints 45-24 on Monday night at the Caesars Superdome. Bijan Robinson and Brian Robinson Jr. combined for five rushing touchdowns, marking the first time since 1973 that multiple Falcons players recorded multiple rushing scores in a single game. Atlanta finished with 207 rushing yards, while the duo averaged 3.7 yards before contact and broke 11 tackles.

Bijan Robinson opened the scoring with a 59-yard touchdown run and finished with 145 yards and two scores on 19 carries. He became the first player since 2008 to record at least 75 rushing yards and two touchdowns in a single quarter of Monday Night Football. Brian Robinson Jr. added three rushing touchdowns, the most by a Falcons running back since 2016 and the first time a non-starter achieved the feat since 2023.

Quarterback Michael Penix Jr. completed 15-of-20 passes for 223 yards, one touchdown, and no interceptions. The Falcons offense converted 4-of-8 third downs during the victory. Defensively, Atlanta pressured Saints quarterback Tyler Shough on 35% of his snaps and recorded two sacks.

The Saints (1-3) struggled with eight penalties and a missed field goal. Shough finished 30-of-48 for 236 yards, with his lone touchdown coming on a three-yard pass to Devaughn Vele with 1:13 remaining. New Orleans has now scored only six total points in first quarters this season. The Falcons next face the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday night, while the Saints host the Minnesota Vikings.
