CeeDee Lamb caught a 12-yard game-winning touchdown with 40 seconds remaining to secure a 34-30 Dallas Cowboys victory over the Houston Texans.
Wide receiver CeeDee Lamb caught 17 passes for 189 yards to lead the Dallas Cowboys to a 34-30 victory against the Houston Texans on Sunday. Playing inside Reliant Stadium for the first time, Lamb secured the win by hauling in a 12-yard touchdown pass from Dak Prescott with 40 seconds remaining in the game. The performance marked Lamb's 30th career game with at least 100 receiving yards and his seventh game exceeding 150 yards.
Prescott targeted Lamb 21 times during the contest, with five of those receptions occurring on the final go-ahead drive. The 17 catches represent the highest single-game total by any NFL player since Week 3 of 2023 and the second-most in Cowboys franchise history, trailing only Jason Witten’s 18-reception mark from 2012. On the decisive 12-yard score, Lamb beat safety Jalen Pitre on second-and-10 after forcing outside leverage and breaking back toward the middle of the field.
With this performance, Lamb moved into fourth place on the Cowboys' all-time receiving yards list, surpassing Hall of Famer Drew Pearson. He now trails Tony Hill by 74 yards for third place in franchise history. The Dallas offense next faces the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Thursday, where Lamb has the opportunity to move further up the team's career yardage rankings behind Michael Irvin and Jason Witten.
