Chad Ryland accounted for all 18 points, including a 43-yard game-winning field goal as time expired, to defeat the Rams 18-16.

Chad Ryland converted six field goals, including a game-winning 43-yarder as time expired, to lead the Arizona Cardinals to an 18-16 victory over the Los Angeles Rams at SoFi Stadium. The 27-year-old kicker accounted for all of Arizona's points, marking the highest scoring output by a Cardinal responsible for every team point since 1929. The result represented the largest upset of the NFL season, as Arizona entered the contest as 13.5-point underdogs.

The Rams took a 16-15 lead with 47 seconds remaining when tight end Colby Parkinson caught a touchdown pass. Arizona responded on the final drive with a 21-yard completion from Jacoby Brissett to Jalen Brooks. An unnecessary roughness penalty against Los Angeles moved the ball from the Cardinals' 35-yard line to the Rams' 29-yard line, setting up the final kick. Brissett finished the day with what coach Mike LaFleur described as excellent timing and accuracy.

Ryland’s performance set a career high and tied for the second-most field goals in a single game in franchise history. The win snapped an eight-game losing streak for the Cardinals against NFC West opponents. It also marked the fifth time since 2000 that Arizona won a game without scoring a touchdown. The Cardinals have secured both of their wins this season at SoFi Stadium, having previously defeated the Los Angeles Chargers there in Week 1.
