Former Seattle Kraken assistant Jessica Campbell joins the New Jersey Devils as manager of player development.

The New Jersey Devils are hiring Jessica Campbell as manager of player development and Bryan McCabe as vice president of prospect personnel, sources told ESPN. Campbell, 34, previously served as an assistant coach for the Seattle Kraken, where she became the first woman to coach full-time behind an NHL bench. Her coaching background includes two consecutive Calder Cup Finals appearances with the AHL's Coachella Valley Firebirds and professional stints in Germany and Sweden.

Bryan McCabe, 51, joins New Jersey after 14 years in the Florida Panthers' front office, where he most recently served as part of two Stanley Cup championship teams. In addition to his role as vice president of prospect personnel, McCabe will act as assistant general manager for the Utica Comets, the Devils' AHL affiliate. A former NHL defenseman who played 1,135 games, McCabe's contract with Florida expired this summer.

These appointments reunite several former Panthers executives under Devils GM Sunny Mehta, who took over the role in April after six seasons in Florida. The New Jersey front office now includes former Panthers staff members Braden Birch as assistant GM and Leo Luongo as director of goaltending.
