WBO champion Devin Haney (33-0, 15 KOs) will face IBF champion Liam Paro (28-1, 16 KOs) in a title unification bout on Dec. 19 in San Francisco.

WBO welterweight champion Devin Haney will face IBF champion Liam Paro in a title unification bout on Dec. 19 at the Chase Center in San Francisco. Top Rank announced the matchup on Thursday, confirming the fight will air on DAZN. The event is a joint promotion involving Top Rank, Devin Haney Promotions, No Limit Boxing, and TGB Promotions.

Haney enters the contest with a 33-0 record and 15 knockouts. He last competed in November, securing a decision victory over Brian Norman Jr. to claim his current title. The 27-year-old fighter previously held the undisputed lightweight championship after defeating George Kambosos in Australia.

Liam Paro, an Australian southpaw with a 28-1 record and 16 knockouts, captured the IBF title in June via a decision win against Lewis Crocker in Queensland. Paro has won three consecutive fights since moving to the welterweight division in June 2025. He previously held a world title at junior welterweight and recently defeated Subriel Matias in Puerto Rico.

The undercard features a 10-round co-main event between former welterweight world champion Brian Norman Jr. and Abel Ramos. This December card follows other recent divisional activity, including Teofimo Lopez’s WBA title win over Rolando Romero in August and Ryan Garcia’s second-round knockout defense of his WBC title against Conor Benn in September.
