Michael Wilson scored 169.5 fantasy points over the final nine weeks of last season, highlighting the potential of late-round fantasy football sleepers.
Michael Wilson emerged as a premier example of high-upside value last season, scoring 169.5 fantasy points over the final nine weeks. This production ranked second among all wide receivers during that span, despite Wilson being selected in fewer than 10% of ESPN leagues. His breakout followed a Week 10 injury to Marvin Harrison Jr. and the emergence of Jacoby Brissett as the Arizona Cardinals' quarterback. Similarly, Marvin Mims Jr. has recorded only seven games with 10 or more fantasy points over three seasons, illustrating the volatility of players stuck in cluttered receiver rooms.
Dallas Cowboys and Carolina Panthers Backfield Metrics
Jaydon Blue enters the Dallas Cowboys' camp boasting a 4.38-second 40-yard dash time recorded at the combine. During his rookie season, Blue appeared in five games, culminating in a Week 18 performance against the New York Giants where he rushed 16 times for 64 yards and one touchdown. He finished the year with 38 carries, averaging 3.4 yards per carry, and one reception. Blue is currently competing for the No. 2 role behind Javonte Williams.
In Carolina, Jonathon Brooks has played just 22 offensive snaps across three games due to two ACL reconstruction surgeries. Despite these injuries, Brooks totaled 1,425 yards and 11 touchdowns during his final collegiate season. He enters this year’s training camp healthy, aiming to surpass Chuba Hubbard on the depth chart. Hubbard previously saw his role diminish behind Rico Dowdle during the latter half of 2025.
Wide Receiver Targets and Fantasy Production
Ryan Flournoy averaged 12.0 fantasy points in six games where CeeDee Lamb played less than half the snaps. During those contests, Flournoy maintained a 19% target share and 64% route participation. In Houston, Jaylin Noel recorded 23.0 fantasy points during a two-week stretch in Weeks 6 and 7 while Nico Collins was sidelined. Noel also caught a 43-yard touchdown pass in Week 17, despite finishing his rookie year with a low 6.3% target share behind Jayden Higgins.
Detroit Lions receiver Isaac TeSlaa caught 16 of 27 targets for 239 yards as a rookie. Standing 6-foot-4, TeSlaa converted all six of his touchdowns on end zone targets. In Denver, Pat Bryant posted two games with 12 or more fantasy points and finished his rookie campaign with 31 receptions. Bryant now competes for targets in a room featuring Courtland Sutton and trade acquisition Jaylen Waddle under playcaller Davis Webb.
Tight End Depth and Running Back Committees
Elijah Arroyo caught 15 of 25 targets for 175 yards and one score during his rookie season with the Seattle Seahawks. He is currently positioned behind AJ Barner and Eric Saubert on the depth chart but was noted as a standout during the 2025 Senior Bowl week in Mobile, Alabama.
Keaton Mitchell averaged 6.3 yards per carry over his first three NFL seasons in Baltimore. Now with the Los Angeles Chargers, 18.6% of his career carries have resulted in gains of 10 or more yards. Mitchell, who weighs 191 pounds, is competing with Kimani Vidal for the backup role behind Omarion Hampton in Mike McDaniel’s offense.
In Tampa Bay, Sean Tucker recorded 34.0 fantasy points in a single game during Week 11 while filling in for Bucky Irving. Tucker is competing with Irving and Kenny Gainwell for touches in a committee-based backfield. Finally, Dontayvion Wicks moves to the Philadelphia Eagles after three seasons in Green Bay. Wicks averaged 9.8 fantasy points in 10 games where he ran at least 20 routes, including a 28.0-point performance in Week 13 while Jayden Reed and Matthew Golden were out.
