The International Tennis Integrity Agency has cleared three South American players after determining that positive tests for boldenone resulted from contaminated meat consumption.

The International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA) officially exonerated Conner Huertas del Pino, Mateo Barreiros Reyes, and Andres Urrea on Wednesday after a comprehensive investigation into positive drug tests. During an ATP Challenger event held in Bogota, Colombia, in May 2023, all three athletes submitted urine samples that contained metabolites of boldenone. This specific anabolic steroid is strictly prohibited under the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) Prohibited List. Despite the presence of the substance, the London-based integrity body concluded that the players bore no fault or negligence for the adverse analytical findings.
