Jürgen Klopp has selected 44 players across two distinct squads for his first four Nations League matches as Germany head coach. The former Liverpool manager divided the group to face the Netherlands, Greece, Serbia, and Greece a second time during the upcoming international window. According to ESPN, the first squad features Kai Havertz, Jamal Musiala, and Nico Schlotterbeck for the opening two fixtures. The second group, designated for the matches against Serbia and Greece, includes Florian Wirtz, Karim Adeyemi, and Nick Woltemade.

Klopp confirmed Marc-André ter Stegen will serve as the starting goalkeeper following Manuel Neuer's retirement. The rosters include several uncapped players and prospects with limited top-flight experience, such as Eintracht Frankfurt forward Younes Ebnoutalib and Elversberg midfielder Felix Keidel. Per DW.com, Klopp stated the squads were organized based on character, experience, and on-pitch logic rather than being designated as "A" or "B" teams.

Notable omissions from the 44-man list include Leroy Sané, who remains at 80 caps, and Deniz Undav, who scored three goals during the recent World Cup. Under Nations League regulations, Klopp must submit a final 23-man list by midnight before each match, though he retains the ability to rotate players between fixtures. This selection follows Klopp's replacement of Julian Nagelsmann, whose tenure ended after a penalty shootout loss to Paraguay in the World Cup round-of-32.
