Erling Haaland limped off the pitch following a heavy challenge in stoppage time of Manchester City's 3-2 win over Ipswich.

Manchester City defeated Ipswich 3-2 on Saturday, a match in which Erling Haaland scored twice before limping off the field in stoppage time. The Norwegian striker sustained a heavy challenge from Jack Clarke and exited toward the tunnel before the final whistle. Manager Enzo Maresca reported after the game that Haaland stated he was "OK," though the club is still awaiting further news on his condition.

Haaland was one of five Manchester City players to suffer physical setbacks during a 10-minute span of the contest. Mateo Kovacic, Matheus Nunes, and Nico O'Reilly also picked up problems, though Maresca indicated that Kovacic and Nunes told him they were fine. O'Reilly's issue was identified as a recurrence of a back injury previously sustained against Coventry.

Antoine Semenyo was also injured during the match, with Maresca labeling his situation as the most serious among the group. While the manager expressed optimism regarding the other players, he noted that the club would need to wait for further updates specifically on Semenyo's status. According to ESPN, these concerns emerged as Manchester City fans displayed inflatable bananas at the Etihad following a recent guilty verdict regarding club charges.
