Wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. will play for the Houston Texans against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday in London, coach DeMeco Ryans confirmed Wednesday.

Wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. will make his Houston Texans debut this Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars in London. Coach DeMeco Ryans confirmed the timeline on Wednesday, noting that Harrison practiced with the team for the first time that day after passing a physical on Monday. The 1-4 Texans acquired the former No. 4 overall pick from the Arizona Cardinals in exchange for 2027 second- and seventh-round draft picks, while also receiving a 2027 sixth-round selection.

Through five games this season, Harrison has recorded five receptions on 13 targets for 85 yards and one touchdown. His career totals across 33 NFL games include 108 receptions, 1,578 yards, and 13 touchdowns. The move reunites Harrison with quarterback C.J. Stroud, his former teammate at Ohio State where both players earned All-American honors during the 2021 and 2022 seasons. Stroud currently ranks fourth in the NFL with 1,402 passing yards through five weeks.

Harrison joins a Houston receiving corps featuring Nico Collins, Xavier Hutchinson, and Jaylin Noel. To prepare for the London matchup, Harrison worked late into Monday night with assistant wide receiver coach Tiquan Underwood to learn the playbook. Ryans stated that Harrison’s attentiveness allowed him to fit in seamlessly during Wednesday's practice session. While Harrison declined to specify reasons for his lack of production in Arizona, he stated he is taking accountability for his performance as he begins this new chapter.
