Michael Page has signed a multi-fight agreement with the KSI-founded Misfits Boxing after his UFC contract expired in September.
Misfits Boxing announced the signing of Michael "Venom" Page to a multi-fight, multi-year agreement on Saturday. The 39-year-old fighter joins the crossover promotion company following the expiration of his UFC contract in September. According to a statement issued during the Misfits Fight Night at London's Copper Box Arena, Page is scheduled to make his professional boxing debut in the coming months.
Page concluded his tenure in the UFC with a 5-1 record over two and a half years. His stint with the organization ended on a four-fight winning streak, securing decision victories over Shara Magomedov, Jared Cannonier, Sam Patterson, and Nursulton Ruziboev. The former Bellator athlete previously characterized the lack of a new contract offer from the UFC as "disrespectful" during an appearance on "The Ariel Helwani Show."
The signing follows reported interest from other promoters, including Jake Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions. Page will now compete under the banner co-founded by influencer KSI, citing the promotion's unique energy and scale as the primary reasons for his transition to the boxing ring.
