Mike Evans caught seven passes for 113 yards and a touchdown to help the San Francisco 49ers secure a 32-29 win over the Seattle Seahawks.

The San Francisco 49ers improved to 5-0 overall and 3-0 in the NFC West following a 32-29 victory against the Seattle Seahawks at Lumen Field. Wide receiver Mike Evans led the offense with seven receptions for 113 yards and one touchdown while playing through a rib injury. Through three quarters, San Francisco had managed only 159 yards of offense, with all 21 of their points at that stage coming from defensive scores or takeaways.

Trailing 26-21 in the fourth quarter, quarterback Brock Purdy led a scoring drive featuring a 23-yard completion to Evans on third-and-10 and a 28-yard gain on second-and-21. This sequence set up a 7-yard touchdown pass to Brandin Cooks. Evans then caught a pass for a successful 2-point conversion to give the Niners a 29-26 lead.

Evans reached a career milestone during the contest, scoring his 112th touchdown to tie Shaun Alexander for 19th on the NFL's all-time list. The 33-year-old receiver now has 24 catches for 326 yards and three touchdowns through five games this season.

Defensively, the 49ers limited Seattle after the Seahawks had previously defeated them 41-6 in the most recent NFC divisional round. With this result, San Francisco became the second team in NFL history to start 5-0 with three wins against opponents that won 12 or more games in the prior season, joining the 1999 Rams. This marks the third time the franchise has started 5-0 under coach Kyle Shanahan.
