Paris FC secured the signature of 26-year-old Mali forward Lassine Sinayoko on Tuesday, committing the attacker to a three-year contract. The transfer involves a reported €8 million ($9.1 million) fee paid to Auxerre, where Sinayoko netted 12 league goals during the previous campaign. This acquisition elevates the club's total offseason expenditure above €65 million ($74 million), establishing the Arnault family-owned side as the highest spenders in Ligue 1 this summer.

Sinayoko Joins High-Value Summer Recruits

Sinayoko arrives following a series of significant investments by the LVMH-backed organization. The forward follows teenage midfielder Patrick Zabi, who joined from Stade Reims, and Italy defender Diego Coppola, signed from Brighton. The club also recently added winger Pablo Pagis from Lorient to a roster building for its second consecutive year in the French top flight. These moves follow a season where Paris defeated local rivals Paris Saint-Germain in both league and cup competitions.

International Pedigree and Scoring Record

The Malian international brings a record of 10 goals in 30 appearances for his national team. His resume includes scoring three goals in each of the last two Africa Cup of Nations tournaments, helping Mali reach the quarterfinals in both editions. He now joins a squad managed by Liam Rosenior, the former Strasbourg and Chelsea coach who took over after the club finished 11th in their Ligue 1 return.
