Bryan Mbeumo scored in the 35th minute before Dominic Calvert-Lewin equalized as Manchester United drew 1-1 with Leeds United on Sunday.

Manchester United played to a 1-1 draw against rivals Leeds United at Elland Road on Sunday, extending the Red Devils' winless streak to six matches across all competitions. Bryan Mbeumo opened the scoring in the 35th minute by converting a low cross from Youri Tielemans. Leeds equalized in the 51st minute when Dominic Calvert-Lewin capitalized on a loose ball to beat goalkeeper James Trafford.

According to ESPN, Manchester United has secured only one Premier League victory in their first seven games, their lowest win total at this stage of a top-flight campaign since 1986-87. The club currently holds six points from their opening six matches. The result leaves manager Michael Carrick's future insecure following a midweek defeat to Atlético Madrid and public criticism of the club's hierarchy by defender Lisandro Martínez.

Martínez started the match despite his recent comments regarding director of football Jason Wilcox and the summer transfer window, but he was substituted for Noussair Mazraoui at halftime. For the hosts, Calvert-Lewin has now scored seven goals in his last seven home league appearances. Since the beginning of April, only Erling Haaland has surpassed Calvert-Lewin's total of eight Premier League goals. While Leeds failed to secure their first home win over United in 24 years, the visitors matched the hosts' intensity to earn a point in the derby.
