Bayern enters the matchup following a 6-1 win over RB Leipzig and a 3-3 draw with Viking FK, a match in which Michael Olise received a red card for throwing the ball at an opponent.

Manchester City sits fifth with Erling Haaland scoring 12 goals in 10 games. Real Madrid follows in sixth, recently overcoming a 3-1 deficit to defeat AS Roma 4-3 with three goals scored after the 81st minute. Liverpool, Atletico Madrid, Inter Milan, and Aston Villa round out the top 10. Aston Villa enters the rankings after a 6-0 victory over Fenerbahce and consecutive clean sheets from goalkeeper Zion Suzuki.
