Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua is listed as doubtful for Sunday night's game against the Denver Broncos due to groin soreness. Head coach Sean McVay confirmed Nacua will not participate in Friday's practice, marking a continued absence since he last practiced on Sept. 17. The receiver previously missed the team's victory over the New York Giants after being added to the injury report with a hip issue on Sept. 18.

McVay stated the organization is targeting a Week 4 return for the matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles, provided there are no setbacks. Despite the injury, the Rams are not considering placing Nacua on injured reserve, a move that would mandate a four-game absence. McVay described the current ailment as "pre-hernia" symptoms, noting the team is being cautious with the skill player's high-speed yardage requirements.

This groin issue is unrelated to the psoas injury that sidelined Nacua during August. The Rams are monitoring his ability to fully open up and run at top speeds before cleared for game action.
