ALCS Game 4 was postponed late Friday night due to rain, with the Cleveland Guardians currently holding a 2-1 series lead over the Tampa Bay Rays.

Rain in Cleveland forced the postponement of Game 4 of the American League Championship Series late Friday night. The Cleveland Guardians currently hold a 2-1 lead in the series following a 3-2 victory in Game 3 on Thursday. The rescheduled Game 4 is now set for Saturday at 8 p.m. ET, while Game 5 has been moved to Sunday at 5 p.m. ET, a day previously designated as an off-day.

Pitching matchups for the rescheduled contest remain unchanged. All-Star Nick Martinez will start for the Tampa Bay Rays, while the Guardians will utilize reliever Shawn Armstrong to open a bullpen game. If the series requires six or seven games, those matchups will take place on Monday and Tuesday at Tropicana Field. A full seven-game series would require the teams to play on four consecutive days.

The winner of this series will advance to the World Series to face the Milwaukee Brewers, who secured their spot on Thursday. The Brewers will have a full week of rest before Game 1 of the World Series begins in Milwaukee on Oct. 23. According to Guardians manager Stephen Vogt, the Saturday first pitch is expected at 8:08 p.m. ET.
