The Baltimore Ravens are finalizing a deal to acquire Jacoby Brissett after losing quarterbacks Lamar Jackson and Tyler Huntley to season-ending injuries.

The Baltimore Ravens are finalizing a trade to acquire quarterback Jacoby Brissett from the Arizona Cardinals, sources told ESPN and NFL Network on Wednesday. The move follows a season-ending thumb injury to Ravens starter Lamar Jackson and a season-ending turf toe injury to backup Tyler "Snoop" Huntley. While the deal is expected to be completed this weekend, undrafted rookie Joe Fagnano will start Thursday night's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, backed up by recently acquired Kedon Slovis and Austin Reed.

Brissett requested a trade on Monday after Cardinals coach Mike LaFleur named Gardner Minshew II the new starter and rookie Carson Beck the primary backup. Before being benched late in the third quarter of a 33-30 overtime win against the Dallas Cowboys last Sunday, Brissett had started 20 consecutive games for Arizona. During that span, he led the NFL in dropbacks and completions while ranking fifth in passing yards, though he was also sacked a league-high 62 times and contacted 241 times.

The Ravens (4-4) currently sit in last place in the AFC North and have failed to score more than 13 points in three straight games. Brissett, who is owed $15.5 million in guaranteed salary for 2026, previously worked with Ravens quarterbacks coach Israel Woolfork in Arizona and Cleveland. Following Baltimore's Thursday night matchup, the team has an 11-day break, positioning Brissett to potentially debut on November 16 against the Los Angeles Chargers.
