Ravens Rule Out Trey Hendrickson for Week 4 Following Finger Surgery

Outside linebacker Trey Hendrickson will miss Sunday's game against the Titans after undergoing surgery for a broken finger on his right hand.

Baltimore Ravens outside linebacker Trey Hendrickson has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the winless Tennessee Titans. According to ESPN, the team's top pass-rusher underwent surgery to repair a broken finger on his right hand. Hendrickson originally suffered the injury during the season opener and played with the finger taped for the following two contests.

Through three games this season, the 31-year-old defender has recorded one sack and three quarterback hits. Hendrickson, who signed a four-year, $112 million contract this offseason, currently maintains a 17.6% pressure rate, which is tied for sixth in the NFL. Coach Jesse Minter described the procedure as a short-term fix to ensure the linebacker's availability for the remainder of the season.

In Hendrickson’s absence, Baltimore will increase the workload for Mike Green, a second-year player with one sack this season. Minter also indicated that undrafted rookie Ethan Burke is expected to see his first defensive snaps of the year.

On the offensive side, starting left tackle Ronnie Stanley is questionable for Sunday after missing Friday's practice with a toe injury. Stanley did not play last week and was limited during Wednesday and Thursday sessions. Despite the missed practice time, Minter stated that Stanley was able to complete a significant amount of work earlier in the week.
