Lenny Joseph scored two goals in 14 minutes to lead Ferencvaros to a 2-0 victory over AC Milan at San Siro.

Ferencvaros defeated AC Milan 2-0 at San Siro on Thursday, leaving the Italian side with three points from four Europa League matches. Forward Lenny Joseph scored both goals for the Hungarian visitors within a 14-minute span early in the second half. Joseph capitalized on an error by backup goalkeeper Lorenzo Torriani for the opening goal before adding a second on a counterattack.

Milan manager Ruben Amorim made six changes to the lineup that recently defeated Inter Milan, later introducing Christian Pulisic as part of a triple substitution at halftime. Despite Ferencvaros substitute Bamidele Yusuf receiving a straight red card in the 77th minute, Milan failed to score against the ten-man side. The result leaves Milan in 28th place in the league phase, while Ferencvaros maintained a perfect start to the competition.

Amorim stated his team was not mentally prepared for professional football and lacked the attitude to attempt a comeback. While Milan has lost only once in 10 Serie A matches this season, they have now suffered three defeats in four European fixtures. The coach questioned his own preparation over the preceding days, noting that the squad is currently unable to compete effectively on both domestic and continental fronts.
