Roman Wilson is expected to miss multiple weeks due to a finger injury sustained in the second quarter of Sunday's win against the Indianapolis Colts.

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Roman Wilson is expected to miss multiple weeks due to a finger injury, a source told ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler. The 25-year-old sustained the injury to his left hand during the second quarter of Sunday’s victory over the Indianapolis Colts following an incomplete pass from Aaron Rodgers. Wilson, who is currently seeking a second opinion, had recorded 14 receptions for 188 yards and two touchdowns through the start of his third season.

The injury further depletes a Pittsburgh receiving corps that is already missing veteran Michael Pittman Jr., who was placed on injured reserve Saturday with a foot injury. Additionally, wideout and special teams contributor Ben Skowronek exited Sunday's contest in the second quarter with a calf injury.

With three receivers potentially sidelined, the Steelers' healthy depth at the position consists of DK Metcalf, Brandon Smith, and rookies Germie Bernard and Kaden Wetjen. Before his exit, Wilson ranked second on the team in receiving targets with 25 total looks on the year. Smith had been elevated from the practice squad just one day prior to the game against Indianapolis.
