Running back David Montgomery and safety Jalen Pitre have been ruled out for Sunday's game at Wembley Stadium due to injuries sustained in a 26-3 win over Tennessee.
The Houston Texans (1-4) will be without starting running back David Montgomery and safety Jalen Pitre for Sunday’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars (4-1) at Wembley Stadium. According to ESPN, both players were ruled out after suffering injuries during a 26-3 victory over the Tennessee Titans last week. Montgomery is sidelined with a groin issue, while Pitre is dealing with a shoulder injury.
Second-year back Woody Marks is expected to lead the rushing attack in London. Marks currently averages 3.5 yards per carry with 149 rushing yards and two touchdowns this season. He replaces Montgomery, who has recorded 138 rushing yards and three total touchdowns—all of which occurred during the season opener against the Buffalo Bills. On defense, rookie safety Kamari Ramsey is the likely replacement for Pitre.
Wide receiver Tank Dell will also miss the trip to London despite practicing for the last two weeks without setbacks. Dell has not played since suffering a serious knee injury in December 2024, which forced him to miss the entire 2025 season. Before that injury, the 2023 third-round pick had recorded 51 receptions for 667 yards and three touchdowns. Houston opened his practice window on Oct. 7 after he began the current campaign on injured reserve.
