Filling in for the injured Lamar Jackson, Tyler Huntley completed 11-of-11 passes for 80 yards during the final two drives to secure a 30-23 victory.
Backup quarterback Tyler Huntley led the Baltimore Ravens to a 30-23 overtime victory against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday night. Starting in place of Lamar Jackson, who was sidelined with a sprained left ankle, Huntley completed 11-for-11 passing for 80 yards during the team's final two drives. The win moved Baltimore to a 4-1 record, providing a one-game lead in the AFC North.
Trailing 30-23 late in regulation, Huntley orchestrated a comeback by throwing a 7-yard touchdown pass to Devontez Walker with 40 seconds remaining. Derrick Henry converted the ensuing 2-point conversion to tie the game. In the overtime period, Huntley capped a 14-play series—the NFL's longest overtime touchdown drive in eight years—with a 1-yard scoring run on a quarterback sneak. During the winning drive, he converted two third downs with completions to Mark Andrews and Zay Flowers.
Huntley finished the second half connecting on 13 of his final 14 passes for 104 yards and two touchdowns, a significant improvement from his 11-of-18 performance for 97 yards in the first half. The eight-point fourth-quarter rally marked the largest comeback for the Ravens in a game not started by Jackson in 11 years. Baltimore is now 7-11 in games where Jackson does not start, with Huntley serving as the starter for six of those seven victories. The team has not yet established a timeline for Jackson's return ahead of their next game at Cleveland.
