The Washington Commanders overcame a 10-0 first-half deficit to defeat the Philadelphia Eagles 27-10 on Sunday night at Northwest Stadium. Quarterback Jayden Daniels completed 16 of 29 passes for 217 yards and one touchdown while adding 23 rushing yards. This victory improved Washington's record to 2-4-1, leaving them two games behind the first-place New York Giants in the NFC East.
Following a first-half fumble and four team penalties in the opening three series, Daniels organized an offensive huddle on the sidelines. Washington subsequently scored 27 unanswered points. The rally included an 8-yard touchdown pass to receiver Stefon Diggs that gave the Commanders a 13-10 lead by halftime. In the second half, Daniels completed 5 of 8 pass attempts for 121 yards, highlighted by completions of 53 and 30 yards.
The win snapped an 0-7-1 stretch for Daniels in his previous eight starts. Despite suffering a hit that knocked the wind out of him late in the second quarter, the quarterback finished his third consecutive game since returning from a Week 2 elbow dislocation. Through the 2026 season thus far, Daniels has recorded six touchdown passes, zero interceptions, and two rushing scores.
