ESPN MMA Rankings: Dakota Ditcheva Moves to 16-0 with PFL New York Victory

Dakota Ditcheva maintained her 16-0 record and No. 7 spot in the ESPN MMA rankings after defeating Denise Kielholtz via unanimous decision.

Dakota Ditcheva improved her professional record to 16-0 on Friday at PFL New York, securing a unanimous decision victory over Denise Kielholtz. Despite the dominant performance, Ditcheva remains in the No. 7 position in the women's pound-for-pound rankings as of August 5, 2026. The flyweight fighter returned to the cage following a year-long hiatus to recover from injuries to both hands. Her previous appearance in 2025 resulted in a win against Sumiko Inaba at the PFL Champions Series in Cape Town, South Africa, which followed her 2024 season championship run that included a TKO of former UFC title challenger Taila Santos.

Valentina Shevchenko holds the No. 1 women's pound-for-pound spot with a record of 26-4-1. Her most recent outing was a unanimous decision win against Zhang Weili on November 15, 2025. Zhang, who moved up from strawweight for that contest, sits at No. 2 with a 26-4 record. Makhachev is scheduled to defend that 170-pound belt against Ian Machado Garry on August 15, seeking his 17th consecutive victory.
