Eugenio Chacarra finished at 21-under par at Delhi Golf Club to secure his third victory of the 2026 season.

Eugenio Chacarra won the DP World India Championship on Sunday, finishing with a total score of 21-under par at Delhi Golf Club. The Spanish golfer completed a 9-under 63 early Sunday morning before carding a final-round 70 to secure a two-stroke victory. This result marks Chacarra's third win of the 2026 season, following previous titles at the KLM Open and the Italian Open in June.

With this win, Chacarra moved into first place in the Race to Dubai standings, leapfrogging Patrick Reed. Reed finished the tournament tied for 23rd at 8-under par after a closing 69. Rory McIlroy, who opted not to use his driver during the week, shot a final-round 74 to finish in a tie for 42nd at 4-under par.

New Zealand’s Daniel Hillier took second place alone, finishing five strokes behind the lead after recording weekend rounds of 64 and 67. Adrian Meronk and Angel Hidalgo shared third place at 15-under par. The tournament schedule was impacted by weather delays, requiring many players to complete their third rounds on Sunday morning after consecutive 4 a.m. wake-up calls.

Chacarra, a 26-year-old former Oklahoma State player, originally earned his full European tour status by winning the Hero Indian Open in May 2025. He is scheduled to compete in next week's Genesis Championship in South Korea. Meanwhile, McIlroy will skip the South Korea event but plans to return for the final two tournaments of the season in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
