Jesús Made holds the No. 1 spot in the latest MLB prospect rankings, while Josue De Paula surges with a .312/.411/.551 slash line and 22 home runs.
Jesús Made, a 19.3-year-old shortstop for the Milwaukee Brewers, remains the No. 1 player in the updated MLB prospect rankings at the Double-A level. While his grip on the top spot has loosened since May, he maintains a 60 FV tier status due to his combination of bat control, raw power, and speed. Closely following at No. 2 is Boston Red Sox shortstop Franklin Arias, who climbed from No. 36 in the preseason to No. 6 in May, and now sits just behind Made after adding significant in-game loft and raw power during his breakout Triple-A campaign. Seattle Mariners left-hander Kade Anderson ranks No. 3 as a 22.1-year-old in Double-A, having signed as the top prospect in the 2025 draft.
Josue De Paula of the Los Angeles Dodgers occupies the No. 10 spot, producing a stat line of .312/.411/.551 with 22 home runs in Double-A. The 21.2-year-old outfielder has optimized his swing loft and approach, drawing comparisons to Yordan Alvarez. In the big leagues, Detroit Tigers center fielder Max Clark ranks No. 5, projected to hit .270 with 15-18 homers and over 20 stolen bases. Sebastian Walcott, the No. 6 prospect for the Texas Rangers, has returned to Double-A action following elbow surgery and a concussion, possessing the potential for 30 annual home runs if he increases his ball flight elevation.
Pitching Leaders and Draft Standouts
Pittsburgh Pirates right-hander Seth Hernandez ranks No. 7 at the High-A level, flashing three plus pitches and starter command traits including significant extension. He is currently recovering from an oblique strain. Seattle Mariners righty Ryan Sloan, standing 6-foot-5 and 220 pounds, ranks No. 14 in Double-A with four above-average pitches. At the Triple-A level, San Diego Padres catcher Ethan Salas is raking at age 20 after starting the season in Double-A at 19. Walker Jenkins of the Minnesota Twins is also performing in Triple-A, though he has not exceeded 84 games in any professional season due to durability concerns.
Recent 2026 draft picks occupy the end of the 60 FV tier, with Roch Cholowsky (White Sox), Grady Emerson (Rays), and Vahn Lackey (Twins) ranked 17th, 18th, and 19th respectively. Emerson, the second overall pick, joins Theo Gillen to form the top position player prospect duo in baseball. Gillen, the No. 11 prospect, was the 18th pick in the 2024 draft and is currently crushing Double-A pitching with a ceiling of 25 home runs.
Risers and Trade Deadline Acquisitions
The 50 FV tier features several players acquired in major trades, including Ramon Marquez of the San Francisco Giants, who arrived via the Luis Arraez deal. Marquez, ranked No. 47, saw a velocity spike that enhanced his slider and changeup. The Detroit Tigers' system includes River Ryan at No. 51 and Josue Briceño at No. 60, both currently at the Triple-A level. In the National League, Washington Nationals shortstop Eli Willits ranks No. 8, performing across both A-ball levels at just 18.7 years old. New York Yankees shortstop George Lombard Jr. has reached the MLB level at No. 9, showing above-average tools in all phases.
Breakout performers in the lower minors include Alexander Frias, Conor Essenburg, Taitn Gray, Braylon Payne, and Enddy Azocar, all noted for significant bat speed and raw power. Caden Bodine of the Tampa Bay Rays has emerged at No. 39 in Double-A, recording nearly twice as many walks as strikeouts. Josiah Hartshorn, a 19.5-year-old in the Chicago Cubs system, is currently hitting well in High-A after receiving second-round money as a sixth-round selection.
Organizational Depth and Late Bloomers
The Los Angeles Dodgers feature five players in the top 35, including Mike Sirota (No. 20), Eduardo Quintero (No. 26), Emil Morales (No. 29), and Christian Zazueta (No. 35), while retaining all of them during the trade for Tarik Skubal. Milwaukee Brewers prospect Luis Lara, ranked No. 38, is expected to graduate from the list shortly. In the Baltimore Orioles system, Anthony Eyanson (No. 59) and Joseph Dzierwa (No. 67) are both pitching in Double-A, with Dzierwa showing improved velocity and deception. Tyson Hardin of the Brewers, ranked No. 96, is identified as a late bloomer who reached a critical mass of performance to debut on the top 100 list at age 24.7.
