Thirteen NHL games are scheduled for Saturday, featuring 26 teams in action. The slate includes the season-opening game for the Ottawa Senators, who face the Toronto Maple Leafs at 7 p.m. ET. While Toronto won a six-game playoff series against Ottawa in 2025, the Senators held a 3-1 regular-season advantage last year.

The Edmonton Oilers and Vancouver Canucks combined for 27 goals during their first two matchups against each other. Edmonton has allowed 13 goals through two games and faces the Seattle Kraken at 7 p.m. ET on NHL Network.
In other 7 p.m. ET matchups, the Philadelphia Flyers host the Carolina Hurricanes following a 7-0 loss to the Penguins and an overtime defeat to the Devils, who outshot them 44-25. The Washington Capitals visit the Tampa Bay Lightning after a 5-2 victory over the Hurricanes on Friday. Utah Mammoth goaltender Karel Vejmelka, who has already recorded a shutout, faces a Columbus Blue Jackets team that scored six goals against Buffalo on Thursday, including two from Matthew Knies.
The 8 p.m. ET schedule features the Boston Bruins against the Minnesota Wild and the Dallas Stars visiting the Nashville Predators. St. Louis enters its 9 p.m. ET game against the Colorado Avalanche coming off a 4-0 shutout win over Dallas. The night concludes with 10 p.m. ET starts for the Calgary Flames at Vancouver and the Los Angeles Kings at San Jose.
