Wide receiver Nico Collins will return to the Houston Texans lineup for a Week 4 matchup against the Dallas Cowboys. Collins missed the last two games due to a hamstring injury sustained during a Week 2 practice. The Pro Bowl wideout participated in practices on Wednesday and Thursday of this week to prepare for his return.
During Collins' two-game absence, the Texans went 0-2 and averaged 11.5 points per game. In the season opener against the Buffalo Bills, with Collins active, Houston scored 31 points. The team currently holds an 0-3 record, matching their start from the 2025 season where they eventually won 12 of their final 14 games.
Coach DeMeco Ryans described Collins as an explosive playmaker and a threat that forces opposing defenses to adjust. The Texans offense also regains starting right guard Ed Ingram this week, who sat out the previous two contests. Houston aims to avoid an 0-4 start, a deficit only the 1992 Chargers have overcome to reach the postseason.
