New York Jets running back Breece Hall practiced fully on Thursday for the first time since injuring his quadriceps five games ago.

New York Jets running back Breece Hall practiced fully on Thursday and announced he is ready to play in Sunday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium. Hall has missed the previous five games due to a quadriceps injury that he described as more serious than initially reported. Although he returned to limited practice two weeks ago, he noted his quad became inflamed and stiff, leading him to sit out the last two contests after being listed as questionable.

During Hall's absence, backup Braelon Allen rushed for 504 yards over five games, the second-highest total in the NFL during that period. Despite Allen's performance and offseason trade rumors, offensive coordinator Frank Reich confirmed on Thursday that Hall remains the team's No. 1 running back. The Jets signed Hall to a three-year, $43.5 million contract during the offseason. Reich indicated the team will utilize a mix of both players against Kansas City.

Hall revealed that hostile social media messages, including threats against him and his family, prompted him to delete his accounts during his recovery. He cited the impact on his mental health after users questioned the validity of his injury. The Jets enter Sunday's matchup with a 2-6 record following three consecutive losses, while the Chiefs stand at 5-2.

In other roster news, wide receiver Garrett Wilson remained in concussion protocol and missed his second straight practice on Thursday. Wilson sustained the injury during a loss to the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday.
