Florida defeated Seattle 8-3 on Saturday, becoming the first NHL team to record natural hat tricks in three consecutive games.

The Florida Panthers defeated the Seattle Kraken 8-3 at Amerant Bank Arena on Saturday night, becoming the first team in NHL history to record natural hat tricks in three consecutive games. Carter Verhaeghe secured the record-breaking feat by scoring twice in a 1:11 span during the first period before completing his natural hat trick with 13:58 remaining in the second. Sam Bennett also recorded his first three goals of the season, while Niko Mikkola and Sam Reinhart added single tallies to the Florida total.

According to ESPN News Services, this performance follows natural hat tricks by Brady Tkachuk in wins over Columbus on Tuesday and Vancouver on Thursday. Florida has now produced four hat tricks in its last three games, matching the franchise's total from the previous three regular seasons combined. Matthew Tkachuk contributed three assists in the victory, while Seattle's scoring came from Frederick Gaudreau, Shane Wright, and Ryker Evans. Kaapo Kakko and Berkly Catton each finished with two assists for the Kraken.

Sam Bennett opened the scoring just 1:05 into the first period and added further goals in the second and third frames. The game also marked the return of former Panthers forward Mackie Samoskevich, who was traded to Seattle in June for draft picks used to acquire Brady Tkachuk. Florida is now one of only three teams in the last 30 years to record a hat trick of any kind in three straight contests, joining the 1992 Calgary Flames and 1982 Edmonton Oilers as the only franchises to reach that mark.
