Puka Nacua and Jordan Whittington Inactive for Rams vs. Giants

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua will miss Monday Night Football against the New York Giants due to a hip injury.

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua is inactive for the "Monday Night Football" matchup against the New York Giants. The second-year wideout was first added to the team's injury report on Friday with a hip injury. Nacua led the Rams in the season opener with five receptions for 74 yards on nine targets before being sidelined for this contest.

Head coach Sean McVay noted that Nacua experienced groin soreness on Saturday and did not participate in practice that day. While Nacua was able to practice on Thursday, McVay observed that the receiver was unable to reach full speed or open up as usual. The team characterized the decision to sit him as "being smart" with a skill player. This current ailment is reportedly separate from the psoas injury that impacted Nacua during training camp.

The Rams' receiving corps will also be without Jordan Whittington on Monday night. Whittington was added to the injury report on Friday with a quad injury and has been ruled inactive. Sarah Barshop of ESPN reported these roster moves ahead of the game in Inglewood, California.
