Baltimore acquired center Cam Jurgens and a 2027 seventh-round pick from the Eagles in exchange for two future draft selections.

The Baltimore Ravens acquired center Cam Jurgens and a 2027 seventh-round pick from the Philadelphia Eagles in exchange for a 2027 fifth-round pick and a 2028 second-round pick. According to league sources told ESPN, the trade was finalized Wednesday after the Ravens sent their chief medical officer and head trainer to the Eagles' facility to conduct a physical before the deal was officially agreed upon. This unconventional sequence allowed the trade to become official immediately upon announcement rather than being labeled "pending a physical."

Ravens doctors examined Jurgens in a quiet area of the Eagles' facility while the player remained in concussion protocol and following a 2025 back surgery. The team opted for this preemptive medical check to avoid a repeat of a failed March trade for Maxx Crosby, which was nullified after Crosby failed a physical in Baltimore following a Friday night agreement. By conducting the evaluation in Philadelphia, the Ravens confirmed Jurgens was physically fit before committing to the exchange of draft assets.

Jurgens is not expected to play in Sunday night's game against the Atlanta Falcons. His debut for Baltimore is projected for the following week when the Ravens travel to face the Cleveland Browns. This transaction marks the first successful trade for the Ravens since the scrapped Crosby deal earlier this offseason.
