Ruoning Yin finished with a 72-hole total of 11-under 277 to defeat Hye-Jin Choi by a single stroke at Sheshan Golf Club.

Ruoning Yin captured the LPGA Shanghai title on Sunday, finishing with a 72-hole total of 11-under 277 at Sheshan Golf Club. The victory was secured by a single stroke over third-round leader Hye-Jin Choi, who carded a 71 in the final round. Yin broke a tie that had persisted from the 10th through the 15th holes by sinking a four-foot birdie putt on the par-4 16th to reach 10-under par with two holes remaining.

Choi, who held leads after the first, second, and third rounds, finished in second place as she sought her first LPGA Tour victory in over 100 starts. Amy Yang took third place with a final-round 68, finishing three strokes behind the winner. Defending champion Jeeno Thitikul posted a 69 on Sunday to finish at 3-under par overall.

This win marks the seventh career LPGA tournament victory for Yin, who previously won this event in 2024 and the Women's PGA Championship in 2023. The performance followed a missed 10-foot birdie opportunity on the 15th hole before she converted the decisive putt on the following green. The LPGA Tour now moves to South Korea for the BMW Ladies Championship at Pine Beach Golf Links starting Thursday.
