Coach Nick Sirianni announced Monday that Sean Mannion and Tanner McKee will retain their roles despite the Eagles' 2-6 record.

Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni announced Monday that he will not replace offensive coordinator Sean Mannion or starting quarterback Tanner McKee. The decision follows a 27-10 loss to the Washington Commanders on Sunday night, which extended Philadelphia's losing streak to six games. The Eagles currently hold a 2-6 record and rank 30th in the NFL in scoring, averaging 17.1 points per game.

McKee has started the last three games in place of Jalen Hurts, who is sidelined with blood clots in his lungs. During that span, McKee has completed 63.2% of his passes for 639 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions. In the recent loss to Washington, he recorded 212 passing yards and one interception. Joe Milton, a 2024 sixth-round pick, remains the primary backup.

Mannion is in his first year as playcaller, implementing a system intended to modernize an offense that Sirianni described as stale in 2025. The transition has been hampered by the retirement of right tackle Lane Johnson, the trade of center Cam Jurgens, and various injuries to skill position players. The Eagles are scheduled to host the New York Giants this Sunday before entering their bye week.
