The Tennessee Titans signed Wan'Dale Robinson to a four-year, $78 million contract following his 1,014-yard season with the New York Giants.
Wide receiver Wan'Dale Robinson reached an agreement Monday on a four-year, $78 million contract with the Tennessee Titans, a deal that includes $38 million in guaranteed money. The 25-year-old playmaker joins Tennessee after a career-best season where he recorded 92 receptions for 1,014 yards and four touchdowns. This Wan'Dale Robinson signing reunites the former Kentucky standout with offensive coordinator Brian Daboll, who previously coached him during their shared tenure with the New York Giants. Robinson led all NFL wideouts with 622 yards from the slot this past year, surpassing the production of Amon-Ra St. Brown and Puka Nacua in that specific role.
In addition to the offensive boost, the Titans secured defensive lineman John Franklin-Myers with a three-year, $63 million contract featuring $42 million guaranteed. Franklin-Myers, who transitions from the Denver Broncos, recorded 7.5 sacks last season and 7 sacks in 2024. His interior pressure contributed to Denver’s 68 sacks in 2025, a figure just four shy of the all-time NFL single-season record. The move brings Franklin-Myers back under the leadership of head coach Robert Saleh, his former coach with the New York Jets. During his time in Denver, Franklin-Myers ranked fourth on the team with 15 quarterback hits, a presence Zach Allen credited for his own league-leading 47 quarterback hits.
Secondary Overhaul and Defensive Metrics
Tennessee further fortified its roster by adding cornerbacks Cor'Dale Flott and Alontae Taylor. Flott signed a three-year, $45 million deal with $32 million guaranteed after starting 14 games for the Giants in 2025. The 24-year-old posted 11 passes defended, one interception, and a forced fumble while primarily playing on the outside. According to NextGen Stats, Flott achieved a targeted EPA against of -12.7, ranking eighth among outside corners with at least 200 coverage snaps. This efficiency placed him ahead of established defenders like Derek Stingley Jr. and A.J. Terrell.
Alontae Taylor, 27, joins the Titans on a three-year, $60 million contract. A four-year starter for the New Orleans Saints, Taylor has appeared in 64 games with 53 starts and four career interceptions. During the 2025 campaign, he logged 492 snaps in the slot and 366 snaps on the outside. Though he began his professional career as an outside corner, he transitioned to a nickel role in 2023 before seeing increased outside reps again in 2024.
Quarterback Depth and Robinson’s Evolution
To support starter Cam Ward, the Titans signed 31-year-old quarterback Mitchell Trubisky to a two-year deal. Trubisky spent the previous three seasons with the Buffalo Bills as Josh Allen's backup, appearing mainly in late-game situations or Week 18 contests. The former No. 2 overall pick by the Chicago Bears in 2017 holds a career 64% completion rate with 64 touchdowns and 37 interceptions across 50 starts in Chicago. He also started seven games for the Pittsburgh Steelers between 2022 and 2023, where he threw eight touchdowns against 10 interceptions with a 64.1% completion percentage.
Wan'Dale Robinson's new contract significantly exceeds the four-year, $53 million deal Khalil Shakir received from the Buffalo Bills. Robinson's 2025 performance saw his air yards per target jump from 4.86 to 8.76, while his average yards per catch rose to 11.0. This followed a 2024 season where he caught 93 passes for 699 yards, averaging 7.5 yards per reception. Standing 5-foot-8, the 2022 second-round pick has played at least 15 games in each of the last three seasons despite a torn ACL during his rookie year. Over four seasons in New York, he accumulated 268 receptions for 2,465 yards and nine touchdowns, frequently serving as the primary target for Jaxson Dart while Malik Nabers dealt with knee injuries.
