Trinity Rodman arrived at the US Open final to support Ben Shelton after playing in the Washington Spirit's 3-0 loss to Boston Legacy FC.

Washington Spirit forward Trinity Rodman traveled to New York on Sunday to attend the US Open final following her team's 3-0 home loss to Boston Legacy FC. The U.S. women's national team star arrived at the tennis match wearing a shirt featuring boyfriend Ben Shelton’s face during the final stages of his 6-3, 7-6 (2), 5-7, 6-2 defeat against Alexander Zverev.

Shelton began his first Grand Slam final appearance while Rodman was competing in the NWSL fixture earlier that day. During the trophy ceremony in New York, Rodman was seen cheering and appeared to wipe away tears. Zverev acknowledged her presence during his postmatch speech, jokingly referencing her earlier soccer game and calling her a "lucky charm."

Rodman previously attended multiple matches during Shelton’s tournament run, including a second-round victory where she wore a black shirt reading "I (heart) my boyfriend." She was also present for Shelton's quarterfinal win over defending champion Carlos Alcaraz, a match that concluded at 3:33 a.m., marking the latest finish in the history of the US Open.
