Zay Flowers Doubtful, Nnamdi Madubuike Out for Ravens vs. Saints

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers is listed as doubtful for Sunday’s matchup against the New Orleans Saints. According to ESPN, Flowers missed the majority of practices this week after aggravating a left hamstring injury during a 41-23 season-opening win over the Indianapolis Colts. The receiver has recorded 91 catches for 1,361 yards over his last 18 appearances, while the rest of the team's wideouts combined for 55 receptions and 814 yards in that same period.

Pro Bowl defensive tackle Nnamdi Madubuike has been officially ruled out for the contest as he continues to recover from a significant neck injury. Madubuike was limited in practice throughout the week but will remain sidelined. Additionally, the Ravens listed three starters as questionable: linebacker Trey Hendrickson (finger), guard John Simpson (groin), and offensive tackle Ronnie Stanley (toe).

If Stanley is unable to play, Carson Vinson is expected to earn his first career start at tackle. Stanley has missed 45 games across 10 seasons, though only one of those absences occurred within the last two years. Should Flowers be inactive, Rashod Bateman will serve as the primary target for Lamar Jackson, supported by LaJohntay Wester, Devontez Walker, Elijah Sarratt, and Chris Moore. Flowers has only missed three games due to injury in his four-season career, with his last absence occurring during the 2024 AFC divisional round loss to Buffalo.
