Running back Breece Hall and wide receiver Adonai Mitchell will miss Sunday's game against Cleveland as the Jets attempt to recover from a 23-12 loss to the Bears.

New York Jets head coach Aaron Glenn ruled out running back Breece Hall (quadriceps) and wide receiver Adonai Mitchell (finger) for Sunday’s game against the Cleveland Browns. Neither player participated in practice this week. This marks the second consecutive absence for Hall and the third for Mitchell. Left guard Dylan Parham was also ruled out with a knee injury, missing his second straight contest.

The 1-3 Jets enter the matchup following a 23-12 loss to the Chicago Bears in which they ran only 32 total plays. During that performance, the Bears recorded 34 first downs and held the ball for 42:45, leaving New York with a time of possession of just 17:15. Quarterback Geno Smith finished the game with 15 pass attempts, while the offense failed to convert any of its seven third-down opportunities.

Braelon Allen is set to start at running back in place of Hall. In last week's loss, Allen recorded a career-high 14 carries for 59 yards, becoming the only Jets player to record a rushing attempt in the game. Backup Isaiah Davis saw two offensive snaps but did not record a touch.

New York will see the return of tight end Mason Taylor, who practiced all week after missing two games with a thumb injury. Additionally, the team opened the 21-day practice window for veteran wide receiver Tim Patrick, who has spent four weeks on injured reserve due to a strained groin. Coach Glenn noted that Mitchell’s finger injury, which occurred before Week 2, does not require surgery but remains a matter of pain tolerance.
