The Cincinnati Bengals moved up four spots in the Week 8 power rankings after Joe Burrow threw four second-half touchdowns in a 35-13 victory over the Baltimore Ravens.
The Cincinnati Bengals climbed four spots to No. 9 in the latest NFL Power Rankings following a 35-13 victory over the Baltimore Ravens. Quarterback Joe Burrow completed 16 of 18 passes for 249 yards and four touchdowns in the second half of the contest. Conversely, the Ravens dropped five spots to No. 13 after blowing a double-digit halftime lead while playing without quarterback Lamar Jackson, who was sidelined by an ankle injury. Baltimore is now the first team since 2022 to lose three games in the first seven weeks after leading by at least 10 points.
In other Week 7 action, the Seattle Seahawks defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 20-3, moving Seattle to No. 5 and dropping Kansas City to No. 4. Chiefs running back Kenneth Walker III, who leads the NFL with 5.8 yards per carry, managed 701 rushing yards through seven weeks but struggled in his return to Seattle. The Atlanta Falcons upset the top-ranked San Francisco 49ers 29-20, though the 49ers retained the No. 1 spot despite the loss. San Francisco played without wide receiver Mike Evans, who is dealing with Achilles tendinitis.
The NFC North and AFC North divisions have made historical marks, with all eight teams currently holding records of .500 or better. This represents only the fifth and sixth times since 2002 that every team in a division has reached this benchmark by Week 8. The Green Bay Packers (No. 15) and Cleveland Browns (No. 16) are the lowest-ranked teams in those respective divisions. The Browns, led by coach Todd Monken, moved to 5-2 after a 27-24 win over the Tennessee Titans.
