Brewers president Rick Schlesinger announced fans who redeemed 2015 Timeless Tickets for the World Series can keep their seats and reuse the original voucher for a future game.

The Milwaukee Brewers are attempting to resolve a dispute with several hundred fans who redeemed a 2015 "Timeless Ticket" promotion for the team's World Series matchup against the Tampa Bay Rays. Fans who paid $1,000 for the voucher over a decade ago reported being offered only 400-level or standing-room options for the franchise's first World Series appearance since 1982. Brewers president of business operations Rick Schlesinger acknowledged on Tuesday that the organization erred in internal communications regarding the logistics of the program.

Under the original terms, Timeless Ticket holders were eligible to redeem their voucher for the best available seat and purchase three additional tickets at full retail price. Fan Danny Fochesato, who attempted to use the promotion for Game 1 and Game 2 at American Family Field, noted that better seating was available during the public sale than what was offered through the redemption form. Fochesato eventually secured one lower-level seat in the right-field corner for Friday and three 400-level seats for Saturday.

To make amends for not meeting the spirit of the program, the Brewers announced that any fan who applied for World Series tickets before the deadline will be allowed to keep those seats while also retaining their Timeless Ticket for use at any game in a future season. This resolution follows complaints that the team failed to provide the priority access behind season-ticket holders that was originally touted during the 2015 sales period.
