Andy Pages drove in two runs with a seventh-inning single to lead Los Angeles to a 3-1 series victory over Atlanta.
The Los Angeles Dodgers defeated the Atlanta Braves 4-1 on Wednesday night at Atlanta to clinch their National League Division Series three games to one. Andy Pages broke a 1-1 tie in the seventh inning by lining a two-run single up the middle off Robert Suarez, scoring Teoscar Hernandez and pinch runner Tommy Edman. Max Muncy added a solo home run against Raisel Iglesias in the ninth, marking his 19th career postseason homer to extend his franchise record.
Dodgers starter Tyler Glasnow threw 4⅔ innings in his first appearance since Sept. 24, allowing one hit and five walks. The Braves took an early 1-0 lead in the first inning when Michael Harris II singled, stole second, and scored on a wild pitch. Los Angeles equalized in the second after Shohei Ohtani walked, stole second, and reached home following errors by catcher Sean Murphy and shortstop Mauricio Dubon.
Atlanta starter Tyler Mahle surrendered two runs—one earned—across 6⅓ innings. The Braves offense struggled with runners on base, finishing the series with 18 walks that failed to result in any runs. Reliever Edgardo Henriquez earned the win after providing 1⅔ scoreless innings, while Edwin Diaz secured the save with a perfect ninth.
Injuries impacted both rosters as Dodgers second baseman Miguel Rojas sat out with lower back soreness. Atlanta’s Ronald Acuna Jr. returned to right field despite recent right knee soreness. Los Angeles, seeking to become the first National League team to win three straight World Series, will host either Milwaukee or San Diego for Game 1 of the NLCS on Sunday.
