Giannis Antetokounmpo recorded 24 points and 18 rebounds to lead the Miami Heat to a 129-117 victory over the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday night. The win ended a four-game losing streak for Miami following the offseason acquisition of Antetokounmpo. The Heat shot 53% from the field and scored 70 points in the paint, establishing a 34-25 lead in the first quarter after making 15 of 23 shots.

Bam Adebayo became the Heat’s all-time career rebounding leader during the contest, surpassing Udonis Haslem’s previous mark of 5,791. Adebayo finished the game with nine rebounds, bringing his career total to 5,794. Haslem had held the franchise record since November 2012.

This performance marked his 118th career game with at least 20 points and 15 rebounds, ranking third in the NBA since his 2013 debut.

Supporting the Heat's offensive effort, Andrew Wiggins scored 18 points, while Pelle Larsson contributed 17 points, eight assists, and six rebounds. Tim Hardaway Jr. scored 14 points off the bench, including a 3-pointer late in the third quarter that gave Miami its largest lead of the night at 95-77. The Heat held a 69-56 advantage at halftime before securing the 12-point win in Atlanta.
